Private Tour of East Salalah

The tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Salalah at 8 AM, followed by a journey east to explore the area surrounding the city. The first stop is the Athum Waterfalls, where a short trekking route leads through lush jungle landscapes characterized by tall trees and rose gardens.

Next, the tour proceeds to the town of Taqah to visit pristine beaches, with possible dolphin sightings off the coast. Following this, we tour the historic centre of Taqah and visit its 19th-century castle, featuring watchtowers, guard rooms, and exhibitions that showcase the traditional Omani way of life.

The itinerary continues at the archaeological site of Samhram, a UNESCO-protected site from the 1st century BC, highlighting its significance in the incense trade route. Afterward, there will be a one-hour lunch break at a local restaurant. The tour concludes with a visit to the Darbat Valley, a notable natural park. The tour ends with a return to your hotel by 5 PM.
