Private Tour of East Salalah

After picking you up from your hotel in Salalah at 8 am, we'll head east to explore the area surrounding the city. The first stop will be at the Athum Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Oman. We'll embark on a short trekking route to reach the waterfalls, enjoying the lush jungle landscapes characterized by tall trees and rose gardens.

We'll then return to the jeep and drive to the town of Taqah, where we'll see its pristine beaches and look for dolphins off the coast. Following this, we'll drive through the historic centre of Taqah and visit its 19th century castle, exploring watchtowers, the guard room, and the prison, along with exhibitions showcasing the traditional Omani way of life.

Next, we will visit the archaeological site of Samhram, which dates back to the 1st century BC and is protected by UNESCO. During the tour, we will discuss the city’s role in the incense trade route.

After this visit, we will take you to a local restaurant for an hour of free time for lunch. We will then explore the Darbat Valley, one of the most beautiful natural parks in Oman. The tour concludes with a return to your hotel at 5 pm.
