Private Tour of West Salalah

At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Salalah and head west to the town of Dhalkout. The drive in the jeep will take approximately two and a half hours.

Upon arrival in Dhalkout, we will explore it by jeep, appreciating the mountain scenery and visiting its beaches for views of the Arabian Sea. After this, you will have an hour and a half for lunch. Following lunch, we head to the village of Deem, near the Oman-Yemen border, where the viewpoint provides a view of the Yemeni hills.

The tour continues to a valley of frankincense trees, where we can learn about the region's history, including its historical trade of frankincense with China and several European countries.

Finally, we will arrive in Rakhyout to visit its beaches, fortress, and one of the oldest mosques in the sultanate. Following this, we'll conclude the tour and drop you back at your hotel.
