Private Tour of West Salalah

At 8 am, pick-up will be from your hotel in Salalah for a journey west to the town of Dhalkout. The drive in a jeep will take approximately two and a half hours.

Upon arrival in Dhalkout, located on the edge of Dhofar Governorate, we will explore the area by jeep to admire the green mountain scenery and visit its beautiful beaches with views of the Arabian Sea.

After this tour, you will have an hour and a half for lunch before we continue our journey to the village of Deem, near the border between Oman and Yemen. The village’s viewpoint provides an ideal view of the Yemeni hills.

Continuing the tour, we will visit a valley with frankincense trees, learning about the region's history, including its past trade of frankincense to China and Europe.

Finally, we will arrive in the city of Rakhyout to visit its beaches, fortress, and one of the oldest mosques in the sultanate.

The tour will conclude with a return to your hotel.
