La Caravedo Distillery Tour

Pisco is a prominent drink in Peru. This tour at the distillery La Caravedo includes a tasting of this national beverage.

Tour Details

Participants will meet at the chosen time at the entrance of Hacienda La Caravedo, commencing a guided tour of one of Latin America's oldest distilleries, with origins dating back to 1634.

The tour starts in the cultivation area, showcasing various Pisco vines classified into eight varieties: Quebranta, Acholado, Torontel, Albilla, Moscatel, Mollar, Italia, and Negra Criolla.

The tour continues to the original facilities established in 1684, featuring a significant wine press, critical for traditional pisco production. Today, La Caravedo is one of Peru's most modern distilleries.

Concluding the tour, participants will enjoy a pisco tasting, varying by tour type chosen at booking.

This option includes a tasting of 3 piscos and a can of chilcano soft drink. Children aged 5-12 receive juice and a biscuit.

Tasting of 6 Piscos (2 Hours)

This includes a tasting of 6 piscos with appetizers and a chilcano soft drink, paired with cheeses, ham, nuts, and seasonal fruit. Children aged 5-12 receive juice and snacks.

Tasting of 5 Piscos + Lunch (2.5 Hours)

This exclusive option offers a tasting of 5 piscos and a 3-course lunch in the restaurant area, along with a horse show. Children aged 5-12 receive juice and lunch.
