Description
The Real Pirates Salem Museum provides an immersive experience into the 18th century and pirating history through various exhibitions and interactive areas. Visitors can see artifacts and riches from the Whydah Gally, a pirate ship that sunk in 1717 off the coast of Cape Cod, near Salem. The ship and its treasures were undiscovered until the late 20th century, allowing the public to view genuine artifacts from the Golden Age of Piracy.

In addition to informative panels, the museum includes interactive areas where visitors can learn about nautical knots, pirate vocabulary, and touch antique coins from the Whydah Gally.
