El Ocaso Coffee Farm Excursion

At a time of your choice, we'll meet in the Main Square of Salento, in front of the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Once gathered, we will depart in jeeps to El Ocaso farm, one of the most prestigious in the Quindío region.

At El Ocaso, you will learn about the working process of a Colombian coffee farm, following the journey of coffee beans from cultivation to cup. Information on the different types of coffee and their preparations will be provided as we explore the farm's facilities.

You will gain knowledge about harvesting coffee, drying the beans, and their processing through the grinder. You will also learn how to prepare coffee like locals, followed by a tasting to appreciate its aroma and flavor.

After an hour and a half at El Ocaso farm, we will return by jeep to the center of Salento, where we will conclude the excursion.
