Quimbaya Bamboo Raft Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salento. We'll travel to the municipality of Quimbaya in a comfortable all-terrain vehicle.

Upon arrival, we'll meet with the guide to begin the route along the La Vieja River. Instructions on how to sit on the typical bamboo rafts, similar to those used by the indigenous peoples of Colombia, will be provided.

The adventure down the river is a four-hour trip, allowing us to enjoy the landscapes and fauna of the Quimbaya region.

Midway through the route, we'll stop at a family farm for lunch. The dish served will be sudado montañero, a typical dish from Quindío, made with potatoes, yucca, plantains, beef or chicken, and salad.

After lunch, we'll continue with the tour while sharing various stories about the region.

The bamboo raft ride concludes with our return to Salento, arriving around 2 pm.
