Salento Guided Tour

On this guided tour of Salento, Colombia's coffee hub, you will explore the city's rich history and important monuments. Walk along Calle Real, visit Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish, and enjoy the view from Alto de la Cruz.

Starting from the Salento Fire Station, you will walk through the city streets, learning about its history and significant sites.

The first stop is the Photography Museum of Salento, showcasing old photos that illustrate the city’s growth and evolution. After the museum, you will proceed to the Main Park.

In the historic city center of Salento, you will see the city's heritage reflected in the façade of Nuestra Señora del Carmen Parish and the colorful colonial-style houses.

A stroll down Calle Real leads you to the affluent part of Salento. Continuing, you will reach the Alto de la Cruz viewpoint, passing traditional restaurants and cafes.

While ascending to Alto de la Cruz, you will hear legends of the city that have been shared for over a century. At the summit, you will enjoy panoramic views of Salento.

There is also the Ecoparque viewpoint, where you can appreciate the lush landscape before making your way back to the old town.

After 3 hours, the guided tour of Salento concludes, and you will part ways with your guide near your starting point.
