If you're in Salento and want to enjoy an authentic Colombian experience, join us to learn how to play a game of Tejo.
Tour Description
We'll meet at the indicated time in the main square in Salento and start this experience. We will head to a Tejo court, where we will notice the atmosphere of fun. Tejo, Colombia's national sport, was played by the Muisca people over 500 years ago.
During an hour, we will learn how to throw metal discs at the 'mechas', which are triangles that we have to make explode. Skill and aim are essential in this game.
As per tradition, after the game, we will rest and enjoy a national beer with some delicious empanadas.
After a total of 2 hours, we will say goodbye at the starting point.
