Pompeii Excursion
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Salerno Central Station. There, we'll board a train for a scenic trip to the ruins of Pompeii, enjoying views of the Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival, we'll meet a knowledgeable guide who will provide us with priority access tickets to the archaeological park for a two-hour tour.
During the tour, we'll explore the ancient Roman streets, visiting domus, theaters, the lupanare, baths, and stores, concluding at the forum, where casts of some eruption victims are displayed.
We will learn about the lifestyle, customs, and habits of the ancient Romans, their leisure activities, and historical anecdotes about the city before it was buried by lava. At the end of the tour, the guide will provide directions back to the station and tips for those wishing to continue the visit on your own.
