Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in its homeland with this amazing gastronomic tour of Salerno. You'll taste pizzas, fried fish, cured meats, and delicious sweets.

Description

At the time you choose, we'll meet up next to the port of Salerno. From there, we'll start walking through the historical center of this city to taste its delicious traditional gastronomy.

Thanks to its strategic location in Campania, Salerno has a wide range of the region's typical products.

Strolling through the streets, you'll encounter several sausage shops. We'll visit one for a small tasting of salami, cheese, and buffalo mozzarella, among other offerings.

Our next stop will allow us to enjoy street food. We'll try a portion of cuoppo, a fried fish dish, and the famous anchovy sauce made in Cetara.

The tour will also take us to the exterior of Salerno's cathedral. Nearby, we can taste a delicious slice of pizza and, for dessert, sfogliatella, a flaky pastry. We will conclude with a coffee, a shot of limoncello, or fennel liqueur.

After 4 hours of culinary exploration, we'll end the tour by returning to the original departure point.
