At your chosen time, we will meet at the waterfront in Salerno to begin a guided tour through the historic center of Salerno.

We will walk through medieval streets towards the incredible San Pietro a Corte complex, where Roman baths, Christian sites, and Norman palaces converge, allowing us to discover the diversity of cultures in Salerno's history.

Next, we will visit the architectural jewel: the cathedral of San Matteo, known as the Duomo of Salerno. This sanctuary was built on the remains of a Roman temple. You will learn more about its history during the inside exploration.

The tour also includes the impressive Arechi Castle, located on Mount Bonadies. We will discuss the fortress's important defensive role, originating from the 7th century.

We will stroll along the main shopping streets, admiring the historic jewelers' and goldsmiths' shops and discussing the significance of the old medical school of Salerno.

After a three-hour tour, we will conclude back at the starting point.
