Vietri sul Mare and Cetara Trip

The trip begins at 8:00 am with a meeting in the center of Salerno. After a 15-minute drive, we will reach the coastal village of Vietri sul Mare.

In Vietri sul Mare, we will explore the historical center, characterized by charming alleys and traditional pottery shops. This area is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You will have two hours of free time to explore the town, including the cathedral of San Giovanni, which showcases a blend of Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles due to various renovations.

Next, we will travel to the village of Cetara, which is a 20-minute drive away. Here, we will learn how the town's famous anchovy sauce is produced. Following the tasting, you will have an hour and a half of free time to eat and explore the village.

The excursion concludes with a return drive to Salerno, arriving at 4:00 pm.
