Vietri sul Mare and Cetara Trip

At 8:00 am, we will meet in the center of Salerno and begin our adventure. We will drive to the coastal village of Vietri sul Mare, located just 15 minutes away.

Upon arrival, we will stroll through the historical center of Vietri sul Mare, exploring alleys, traditional pottery shops, and views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This area of the Amalfi Coast is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

You will have two hours of free time to explore the town independently. Be sure to visit the cathedral of San Giovanni, a temple that showcases Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque styles due to various renovations over the centuries.

Next, we will head to the village of Cetara, arriving 20 minutes later. Here, you will learn how the town's famous anchovy sauce is made. After tasting this popular dressing, you will have one and a half hours of free time to eat and explore the village.

We will conclude the excursion with the return drive to Salerno, arriving by 4:00 pm.
