Vietri sul Mare and Cetara Trip

At 8:00 am, we will meet in the center of Salerno and begin our adventure. We will drive to the coastal village of Vietri sul Mare, just 15 minutes away.

In Vietri sul Mare, we will stroll through the historical center, exploring alleys, traditional pottery shops, and views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This area is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

You will have two hours of free time to explore the town. Be sure to visit the cathedral of San Giovanni, which features Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque styles due to various renovations.

Next, we will head to the village of Cetara, arriving 20 minutes later. Here, we will learn about the town’s famous anchovy sauce and sample this traditional delicacy. Following this, you will have an hour and a half of free time to eat and explore the town.

We will conclude the excursion by returning to Salerno, arriving at 4:00 pm.
