Description
Between 6:30 and 7:10 am, our adventure begins when we pick you up in Salta, setting off towards the breathtaking Calchaquí Valleys. Our journey starts in the Lerma Valley and the Quebrada de Escoipe, revealing views of the Yungas forest. We will traverse the Cuesta del Obispo, reaching the highest point at 3457 meters above sea level at Piedra del Molino. We will descend to the Tin Tin Straight in Los Cardones National Park, ultimately arriving at the charming town of Cachi.
In Cachi, a stroll provides insight into its heritage. Visiting the Pío Pablo Díaz Archaeological Museum, showcasing artifacts over 10,000 years old, and admiring the historic San Jose Church, a temple from the Spanish colonial era, are included. Enjoy free time in Cachi for a lunch on your own before our return journey to Salta. Anticipated arrival in Salta is around 6:30 pm, concluding the day.
