Description
Between 6:30 and 7:10 am, our adventure begins when we pick you up in Salta, setting off towards the breathtaking Calchaquí Valleys.
Our journey will start in the Lerma Valley and the Quebrada de Escoipe, revealing enchanting views of the Yungas forest. We'll then traverse the Cuesta del Obispo, reaching the highest point at 3457 meters above sea level at Piedra del Molino. Descending to the Tin Tin Straight in Los Cardones National Park, we'll ultimately arrive at the charming town of Cachi.
In Cachi, a stroll through its picturesque streets and colonial town offers insight into its rich heritage. Exploring the Pío Pablo Díaz Archaeological Museum, which showcases artifacts dating back over 10,000 years from the area, will undoubtedly captivate you. Admiring the historic San Jose Church, a beautiful temple from the Spanish colonial era, will be part of our cultural exploration.
Enjoy some free time in Cachi for a delightful lunch on your own, rejuvenating your energy before we embark on our return journey to Salta. Anticipated arrival in Salta is around 6:30 pm, concluding an unforgettable day.
