At the scheduled time, our team will collect you from your accommodation in Salta and commence our thrilling day adventure towards Santa Rosa de Tastil.

We will first stop at Campo Quijano, a delightful little town that marks our passage toward Quebrada del Toro. Often referred to as the 'gateway to the Andes', this charming spot will reveal its significance as we approach.

As we head towards Quebrada del Toro, we will navigate through a stunning mountainous landscape, adorned with vibrant hilltops and towering cacti. Each curve along the route presents spectacular views, creating numerous photo opportunities.

Our journey continues as we pass the notable Tren a las Nubes viaduct, reaching Quebrada del Toro. Here, we will take a moment to enjoy one of the most breathtaking panoramas of Salta. After soaking in the awe-inspiring scenery, we will descend toward our final destination, the quaint village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, home to a local indigenous community.

In this intimate town, you will find one of the key archaeological sites in northwestern Argentina, the Tastil ruins, perched at an elevation of 3,200 meters (10,498 feet) above the beautiful Calchaquíes Valleys.
