Description

At the scheduled time, you will be picked up from your hotel in Salta to begin the trip to Santa Rosa de Tastil.

The first stop is Campo Quijano, known as the 'door to the Andes.' As we drive towards Quebrada del Toro, expect views of colorful hilltops and towering cacti, with plenty of photo opportunities.

Continuing, we will pass the Tren a las Nubes viaduct, arriving at Quebrada del Toro to enjoy stunning vistas of Salta. Then, we will proceed to the town of Santa Rosa de Tastil, home to a local indigenous community.

This town features the Tastil ruins, located at 3,200 meters (10,498 feet) above the Calchaquíes Valleys. We will explore the site, a significant pre-Colombian city in Argentina, taking time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You will have free time to have lunch at local restaurants before we return to Salta, concluding our tour.
