Description

At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Salta to begin our journey to Santa Rosa de Tastil. Our first stop is Campo Quijano, known as the 'door to the Andes.'

We will travel along a scenic mountainous route towards Quebrada del Toro, enjoying panoramic views of colorful hilltops and cacti, providing ample photo opportunities.

Continuing our journey, we will pass by the famous Tren a las Nubes viaduct before reaching Quebrada del Toro to take in spectacular vistas of Salta. Following this, we will proceed to Santa Rosa de Tastil, home to a local indigenous community.

In this town, we will explore the Tastil ruins, located 3,200 meters (10,498 feet) above the Calchaquíes Valleys, which is one of the largest pre-Columbian cities in Argentina. Time will be given to explore the site and enjoy the surroundings. Afterward, you will have free time for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Salta, concluding our tour.
