Guided Tour of Salta
Between 9:30 am and 10 am, pickup will be from your hotel in the city centre or the specified meeting point. The first stop will be Salta Cathedral, located at Plaza 9 de Julio, where we will also visit the Museum of High Altitude Archaeology, the Cuchi Leguizamón sculpture, and the Cabildo of Salta, the best-conserved cabildo in Argentina.
Following a 5-minute walk, we will reach the Church of Saint Francis, notable for its red façade and the towering steeple, the tallest in South America. The tour continues to the church of San Francisco and convent of San Bernardo, exploring the city's history, before ascending San Bernardo hill for panoramic views. At the base of the hill is the monument to General Güemes, a key figure in the Argentinian War of Independence.
