Quebrada de Humahuaca Day Trip
Pickup will occur between 6:30 am and 7:10 am from your hotel or a designated meeting point. The first stop is the town of Purmamarca, where we'll visit the Cerro de los Siete Colores. The journey continues to Maimará, known for its Paleta del Pintor with vibrant colors, perfect for photos.
We will then proceed to Tilcara, where participants can learn about a unique curse related to the Argentinean Football Team. The next stop is the Iglesia de San Francisco de Paula in Uquía, notable for its Harquebusier Angels paintings. After that, we will continue along the Tropic of Capricorn to the Quebrada de Humahuaca.
Finally, we'll visit Humahuaca, the largest city in the gorge. Here, you can explore the historic center and view the Monument to the Heroes of Independence. Participants will have free time for lunch to sample Jujuy's gastronomy. The return to Salta is expected around 7:30 pm.
Humahuaca + Hornocal Mountains Day Trip
This option includes a visit to the Hornocal Mountains with an early morning pickup from your hotel. The tour begins with a stop at Cerro de los Siete Colores, then to Paleta del Pintor. We will briefly stop in the historical downtown area of Humahuaca for lunch before a 4x4 journey to the Hornocal Mountains, known for their colorful displays. The return to Salta will also be approximately at 7:30 pm.
