Quebrada de Humahuaca Day Trip
We'll pick you up between 6:30 am and 7:10 am from your hotel or the meeting point and depart for the town of Purmamarca. The first stop will be at the Cerro de los Siete Colores hill. We will then enter the province of Jujuy to visit the Quebrada de Humahuaca.
The route continues to Maimará, next to the Paleta del Pintor natural landscape. Next is Tilcara, where we'll learn about a curse related to the Argentinean Football Team.
We'll visit the Iglesia de San Francisco de Paula church in Uquía, seeing the Harquebusier Angels' paintings from the Hispanic period. The tour continues to the Quebrada de Humahuaca.
Lastly, we will explore Humahuaca, its historic centre and the Monument to the Heroes of Independence. You'll have free time for lunch. We will return to Salta by around 7:30 pm.
Humahuaca + Hornocal Mountains Day Trip
For an option to visit the Hornocal Mountains, we'll pick you up early and head towards Quebrada de Humahuaca. The first stop will be at Cerro de los Siete Colores.
Next, we will visit Paleta del Pintor. Following this, we will take a brief pause for lunch in Humahuaca before heading to the Hornocal Mountains in a 4x4 vehicle, where you'll see mountains with over 14 different colors.
We will return to Salta at about 7:30 pm.
Pick up
This tour includes pick up from hotels in the center of Salta. If you are staying elsewhere, we will pick you up from number 45 Calle Buenos Aires.
