San Lorenzo Bike Tour

In this activity, we'll take you from Salta to San Lorenzo, where you'll enjoy a bike tour through natural areas such as the Arteaga Gorge or the Eastern Cordillera. You can choose the cycling route you prefer.

San Lorenzo Bike Tour

Upon reservation, you can select from the following bike tours. All routes include pickup at your hotel in Salta, transportation to the activity location, an English-speaking guide, and bike + helmet rental.

Note that you need to add half an hour of transport time to the indicated tour duration. The one-way trip from Salta to the activity location is 15 minutes, with the same duration for the return trip.

Arteaga Gorge Tour (2 hours)

This tour starts with travel from Salta to San Lorenzo, where we will begin our bike tour through the Arteaga Gorge.

We'll cross a water reserve with crystal clear streams that support unique native vegetation. The landscape changes from a mountain forest to the transition jungle.

Departure times: daily at 10 am and 3 pm.

Potrero Grande Tour (3 hours)

This route takes place in Potrero Grande, protected by the mountains of Salta.

We'll traverse the landscapes of Selva Montana, seeing various species such as walnut trees, matos, laurales, and horco molles. Stops will be made to observe pastures with the famous Argentinean horses of Salta.

Uriburu and Cordillera Oriental Tour (7 hours)

This technically challenging bike tour is for experienced cyclists. We first ride to Uriburu at the Eastern Cordillera foot, then cycle through mountain ranges and by the Astilleros ravine.

We ascend steep slopes to 2200 meters (7,220 feet), with breathtaking views. A picnic lunch break is included before returning to your hotel in Salta.
