Horseback Riding in San Lorenzo Natural Reserve
We will begin by collecting you from your accommodation in Salta at a time that suits you. A minibus will transport us to a stable located on the city’s outskirts.
Upon arrival, you'll meet fellow riders and prepare all the necessary riding gear. It will soon be time to embark on our horseback journey through the yungas jungle of the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve, recognized as one of the principal protected areas within Salta Province.
Your ride will navigate various trails throughout the reserve, with routes selected based on your level of riding experience. During this immersive experience, we will explore the local fauna of the San Lorenzo Gorge. This yungas jungle is an incredibly diverse ecosystem, home to numerous species including wild cats, weasels, and foxes.
As our horseback ride unfolds along additional paths in the reserve, we will take in the breathtaking <ravines and verdant jungle landscapes. Interestingly, this yungas region is a recognized part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
Our adventure will conclude as we make our way back to the stable. After bidding farewell to our equine companions, we will return to Salta by minibus, expecting to arrive at your accommodation approximately four hours after the initial pickup.
