San Lorenzo Natural Reserve Horseback Riding

After picking you up at your hotel in Salta, we will take you by minibus to a stable on the outskirts of the city at the time of your choice.

Upon arrival, we will greet our travel companions and prepare the riding equipment. Then we will start our horseback ride through the yungas jungle of the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve, a protected area in Salta.

We will ride through different trails in the reserve, choosing routes based on your riding experience. During the activity, we will learn about the fauna of the San Lorenzo Gorge, which hosts various species including wild cats, weasels, and foxes.

We will also admire the ravine and green jungle landscapes. Notably, this yungas area is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

Finally, we will return to the stable, bid farewell to the horses, and return by minibus to Salta. Arrival at your hotel is typically four hours after pickup.

This activity includes pickup and transfer back to the hotels in downtown Salta. For those in more remote areas, pickup will occur at Calle Buenos Aires, 45.
