Join us on this day trip to Cachoeira to discover the rich history of the state of Bahia. We'll visit its colonial houses and emblematic places such as the Samba de Roda Museum.

Cachoeira Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salvador to start our day trip to Cachoeira.

Our first stop will be the town of Santo Amaro, where we'll admire its church, market, and colonial mansions. We will visit the Samba de Roda Museum, which commemorates Bahia's music and dance.

Then, we arrive in Cachoeira, a National Heritage Site, where we'll appreciate its preserved historical and architectural essence, including the churches of the Third Order of Mount Carmel and of Our Lady of the Rosary.

We will also visit the house of the Sisterhood of Our Lady of the Good Death, a group highlighting the importance of the racial struggle in Brazil.

The tour continues as we cross the Paraguaçu River to reach São Felix. Here, we'll stop at a ranch for a delicious lunch featuring a typical local dish.

After lunch, we'll head to the last point of our excursion: a Danneman cigar factory established in the 19th century, where we will learn about traditional cigars.

We will conclude our trip at the starting point 10 hours after the beginning of the activity.
