Join us for an evening exploration of Pelourinho, the historic heart of Salvador de Bahia. Experience an Afro-Catholic mass as part of this unique tour!

Details of the Night Tour

Your journey will commence with a timely pickup from your accommodation in Salvador de Bahia, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening in Pelourinho. This renowned area, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stands out as one of the city's most treasured historical locales.

Our first stop will be the Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos Church, an 18th-century architectural gem perched on the hillsides of Pelourinho. Here, you will participate in an Afro-Catholic mass, a vibrant ceremony that intertwines African religious traditions with music and dance to pay homage to Saint Anthony and his ancestral roots.

Following the mass, the night tour will unfold further as we stroll through Pelourinho’s enchanting streets illuminated by soft lights. During our walk, we'll delve into the celebration of Ogun, a significant deity in Afro-Brazilian spirituality, and learn about the longstanding tradition of Blessing Tuesday, which has been celebrated for over six decades. Discover how this event enriches Salvador's musical landscape.

As the evening progresses, we will visit various bars, restaurants, and food stalls, allowing you to savor the culinary delights of Pelourinho.

After a captivating 4-hour experience, we will conclude the tour with a return to your hotels in Salvador.
