Salvador da Bahia Historic Centre & Barra Lighthouse Tour

Between 6:30 and 8:00 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in central Salvador da Bahia. At 9 am, we'll set off on our tour of the historic centre of a fascinating city that's bursting with a mix of different cultures.

The first stop will be at the iconic lighthouse in the Barra neighbourhood, a site of the city's independence declaration. Next, we'll visit Pelourinho, a district that transitioned from an upper-class residential area to a cultural hub for artists following the abolition of slavery.

While in the historic centre, we'll also see the Praça da Sé and the monumental architectural ensemble of Terreiro de Jesus, established by the Jesuits. Additionally, we'll observe the Church of São Pedro dos Clérigos and the Church of São Domingos Gusmão, learning about their historic and cultural significance.

At 1 pm, we'll return to your hotel and conclude the tour.
