Bavarian Alps Trip
At the indicated time, we'll depart from Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1 in Salzburg and head to the southwestern corner of Bavaria, where Germany borders Austria and the Czech Republic.
Once in German territory, our first stop will be the mountainous area of Obersalzberg, a former holiday retreat for Adolf Hitler and site of the Berghof residence.
We'll continue through the Berchtesgaden National Park, stopping at Königssee, known as the “king's lake.” You'll see the stunning reflection of rugged peaks and the red domes of St. Bartholomew's Church on its shores.
Next, we'll visit the picturesque town of Berchtesgaden. Here, lush valleys and snow-capped mountains contrast with the traditional ochre houses, creating a unique landscape.
After some free time to explore Berchtesgaden, we will return to Salzburg. Arrival at the starting point is scheduled for 4 hours after pickup.
