Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1 and leave Salzburg to drive to the Berchtesgaden salt mines.

On the way, we'll pass the Königseeache river and the Obersalzberg area. Upon arrival, we will don miner's costumes to enter the mine.

During the tour, we will walk through corridors used by workers, explaining the mining process, daily life of miners, and associated risks. Participants can slide down the mining slides for a unique experience.

The visit concludes with a wooden raft ride on a salt lake. We will retrace our steps through the subway labyrinths aboard the mining train back to the surface.

Before returning to Salzburg, we'll stop in the village of Berchtesgaden, and then return to the starting point for a total duration of 4 hours.
