Hellbrunn Palace Boat Trip + Trick Fountains

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 1a on Franz-Josef-Kai Street in Salzburg, where we'll board a boat to embark on a trip to Hellbrunn Palace.

We'll move south on the Salzach River and admire views of the old town from the boat. Upon disembarking, a historical English double-decker bus will take us to Hellbrunn Palace, a baroque 'villa' from the 19th century.

In the palace gardens, we'll enjoy the famous trick fountains: a set of fountains, sculptures, caves, mechanical deer, and hydraulic machines designed to surprise guests, a creation of prince-archbishop Markus Sittikus.

Following this, you'll enter the palace and, using an audio guide, explore the ballrooms with their frescoes by Mascagni, the prince's chamber, and the music chamber.

Finally, after a ride of approximately 2.5 hours, we'll board a bus that will return us to the meeting point in Salzburg.
