Join us to discover the past and the charm of Mozart's city on this guided tour through Salzburg, a World Heritage Site.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 3 Rainerstraße. From there, we will head to Kurgurten, a garden next to Mirabell Palace, a baroque building built in the 17th century. We will enter the ornate gardens, exploring mythological statues and the sets of the 60's musical film The Sound of Music. Then, we will walk along the Salzach River until we reach the heart of the old town, passing Mozart's residence.

A few steps away on Getreidegasse is Mozart's birthplace, now a museum. Our guided tour will then take us to Kollegienkirche, a baroque jewel designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, known for being a stage for operas since the 1970s.

Next, we will arrive at Residenzplatz to admire the Residenzbrunnen and the Salzburg Cathedral, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was baptized. While discussing the history of this square, we will pass by the Mariensäule fountain on our way to Domplatz and the sphere on Kapitelplatz, featuring a large gold-toned sphere that adds a contemporary touch to the historic setting.

At Kapitelplatz, we will see the Kapitelschwemme, where horses used to drink water. We will conclude with a panoramic view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress, one of the oldest fortresses in Central Europe. The tour lasts 2 hours and concludes at this last point.
