Looking for another corner of paradise in the Dominican Republic? On this tour of the 7 beaches of Samana, we'll depart from Las Galeras in search of the best coves in the area.

7 Beaches of Samana Tour

We'll meet at 9:30 am in Las Galeras and set off on a 3 km (2-mile) walk. The walk will lead us to the 7 most spectacular beaches in Samana.

First, we will visit the Duarte cave, historically used by the Taino Indians for preparing medicines and food. Following this, we’ll go to a viewpoint for panoramic views of the coast.

Next, we’ll visit the first two coves: Caletón and Perdida beaches. We will then proceed to Colorada 1 beach, with an explanation about its name given during our buffet lunch on the sand.

Lunch will include white rice with beans, black bean moro, grilled chicken, grilled fish, beef, green salad, elbow salad, fried ripe plantain, fruit salad, and coconut bread. A refreshing chinola (passion fruit) juice will also be served. After lunch, we’ll head to Colorada 2 and Ñiñingo beach.

Finally, we'll visit the last two coves: Amor and Breman, and then go to Rincón beach for a boat ride back to Las Galeras.

The tour concludes at the Las Galeras pier, where we will arrive at 4 pm.
