Embark on an exciting journey to discover one of the Dominican Republic's most stunning waterfalls with our El Limón Waterfall Hiking Activity departing from Samaná.

Activity Overview

At your selected time, you will be greeted at Parada Ismael. This marks the beginning of our hiking adventure through the beautiful El Limón Waterfall.

Your trek will lead you through the verdant landscapes of the Samaná peninsula as we follow the course of the Limón River. Along this scenic route, you will encounter plantations of three of the nation’s iconic crops: cocoa, coffee, and coconut palm.

During this three-hour hike, we will pause at a quieter, lesser-known waterfall where you have the option to take a refreshing swim. We will then resume our journey to the grand El Limón Waterfall.

Upon arrival, you will descend approximately 200 steps to reach the waterfall, where you can enjoy about an hour to marvel at this magnificent waterfall, which stands at 130 feet (40 meters) tall, and indulge in another invigorating dip.

After relishing the beauty of this magnificent location, we will return to the starting point.
