Enjoy the day trip to the beaches of Onda and Ermitaño from Samana or Las Terrenas in the north of the Dominican Republic.

Day Trip Options

During booking, you can choose between two options. Both include transport by speedboat, an English-speaking tour assistant, and lunch. Details for each option are below:

Day Trip from Samaná (5 Hours)

We will meet at El Valle de Samana Beach. After gathering, we will take a speedboat to explore the northern part of the island.

Our first stop is Ermitaño Beach, a cove with thick vegetation, home to various species. The name relates to a French pirate's story.

Next, we will proceed to Onda Beach, set in a small bay with coconut palm trees and turquoise waters. This is a spot for swimming and seeing underwater life.

At noon, we'll enjoy a typical lunch featuring fish, chicken, potatoes, fried plantain, coconut water, and mineral water.

We will return to the original meeting point after a total of 5 hours.

Day Trip from Las Terrenas (7 Hours)

We will meet at Las Ballenas Beach in Las Terrenas and sail on a speedboat to the northern coast.

Our first stop will be Astillero Beach, ideal for swimming. We will then proceed to Morón Beach, a less-known spot for taking pictures and exploring.

Next, we will head to Onda Beach for swimming, before reaching Ermitaño Beach, where you can explore the nearby reefs. A delicious barbecue lunch will be prepared with local products.

After this trip, we will return to the starting point after a total of 7 hours.
