Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado Day Trip

Humpback whale watching is one of the main tourist attractions of Samaná. Experience this tour while relaxing on the beaches of Cayo Levantado.

During the booking process, you can select from the following options.

3.5-Hour Tour

If you wish to observe whales in this protected area, this is your ideal choice. Departing from Samaná port, the tour provides 2 to 2.5 hours of whale watching in their natural habitat. Important: this tour does not include food or a visit to Cayo Levantado.

7-Hour Tour

After meeting at the Avenida La Marina in Samaná, we will board a catamaran and head out into the bay.

This trip includes whale watching, where we will anchor and observe humpback whales. Each year, between January and March, approximately 3,000 humpback whales breed in these waters.

We will then proceed to Cayo Levantado, where you will have free time to relax on its beaches and enjoy a buffet lunch before returning to the catamaran for the journey back. The total duration of this tour is 7 hours.

Whale Watching from Punta Cana
