Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado Day Trip

Humpback whale watching is a notable attraction in Samaná. Experience this tour and relax on the beaches of Cayo Levantado.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options.

3.5-Hour Tour

If you want to focus on whale watching in the protected area, this tour option is for you. We will sail from Samaná port and spend 2 to 2.5 hours in the sanctuary, learning about these aquatic mammals.

Important: this tour does not include food or a visit to Cayo Levantado.

7-Hour Tour

We will meet at Avenida La Marina in Samaná at the designated time and board a catamaran, put on our life jackets, and head into the bay.

During this trip, enjoy whale watching in the north of the Dominican Republic. We will anchor in the ocean and wait for humpback whales to surface. From January to March, around 3,000 humpback whales breed in these waters.

Then we will head to Cayo Levantado, where you will have free time to relax on the beaches. After a buffet lunch on the beach, we will return to the catamaran, concluding the tour after a total of 7 hours.
