Whale Watching + Cayo Levantado Day Trip

Humpback whale watching is one of the main attractions in Samaná. This tour allows you to relax on the beaches of Cayo Levantado while observing these animals in their natural habitat.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options.

3.5-Hour Tour

This option is for those primarily looking to whale watch in the protected area. We will set sail from Samaná port and spend 2 to 2.5 hours in the sanctuary learning about humpback whales. Important: This tour does not include food or a visit to Cayo Levantado.

7-Hour Tour

Meet at Avenida La Marina in Samaná at the designated time, board a catamaran, and proceed into the bay. Experience whale watching as we anchor in the ocean and wait for the humpback whales to surface. This area is ideal for this activity, with around 3,000 humpback whales breeding here between January and March.

We will then head to Cayo Levantado, where you have free time to relax on the beach after enjoying a buffet lunch. Afterward, we will return to the catamaran and complete the tour, which lasts a total of 7 hours.
