Travel to the homeland of Ulysses on this excursion to Ithaca. During the voyage, you'll visit important places on the island, including Vathi and Kioni.

Ithaca Excursion

We'll meet at 9 am at the Port of Sami to begin an exciting excursion to Ithaca. Ready to explore the setting of Homer's Odyssey? All aboard!

As we sail north towards Ithaca, you'll hear stories and legends about the island, home of the Greek hero Odysseus. Our first stop will be Vathi, the island's capital.

Upon arrival, we'll disembark to visit this fishing village nestled in a natural harbor and see its characteristic Ionian architecture.

Then, we'll return to the boat and sail to Kioni, making a stop at Gidaki Beach for a swim in its clear waters.

Once in Kioni, we'll stroll through its flower-filled streets. This town has one of the most beautiful harbors in Ithaca.

In Kioni, you will also have free time to refuel at a local restaurant. After eating, we'll return to the boat and head back to Sami. On the way, we'll stop at Sarakiniko Beach for another swim.

The excursion will conclude around 4 pm.
