Tierra Activa Farm Tour

On this visit to the Tierra Activa farm, you'll spend a day with a local family, who will show you around their farm and share their lifestyle and traditions.

Tierra Activa Farm Tour

At the appointed time, we will meet at the Tierra Activa farm, where the hosts, mother and daughter, will welcome you with freshly harvested fruit.

Afterwards, you'll explore the life on the farm and see the kitchen with a wood stove where sancocho, a traditional stew, is prepared.

You will receive hats, baskets, machetes, and walking sticks for a walk along the farm trails, learning about the diverse plants and vegetables. Tasting fruit and climbing a treehouse will provide views of the Huila landscape.

You will observe plant cultivation and participate in a prayer to the Pachamama.

After the ceremony, we will tour the farm’s vegetable gardens and medicinal plant crops and visit Tierra Activa's coffee plantation to observe the fermentation, selection, and drying processes.

We will conclude with a cup of organic coffee or cocoa with bread and handmade arepas. If you select the meal option, a menu with farm products will be served.

The experience ends two hours after the tour begins.

For the tour with a meal included, depending on your time of booking, you will have breakfast (eggs, fruit, arepas, homemade bread, coffee, or chocolate), lunch (starter, main course, dessert, and a drink), or dinner (starter, main course, and a drink).
