PADI Open Water Diving Course

Are you in San Andrés and want to earn your official diving certification? This PADI Open Water Course allows you to dive globally down to 18 metres (60 feet) over 3 days.

Options

When booking your PADI Open Water Course, choose between the Basic and Advanced options. Both courses last 3 days and include in-person and virtual theory classes and exercises. After booking, you will receive passwords to access the online learning platform. Certification enables you to dive worldwide to a maximum of 18 metres (60 feet).

Basic Course

We will collect you from your hotel in San Andrés at the scheduled time and take you to the diving centre for the theory portion. In the Basic Diving Course, you'll learn how to float and regulate your breathing.

On the first day, the instructor explains how to use the diving equipment and basic underwater skills. You'll have your first open water dive down to 10 metres (33 feet) for about 35 to 45 minutes.

On the second day, you will complete 2 dives lasting 35 minutes to an hour to enhance your underwater autonomy.

On the third day, you will perform a dive of 18 metres (60 feet), completing the practical part of the course. If you also pass the online portion, you will receive your official PADI Open Water Certificate.

Advanced Course

The Advanced PADI Open Water course includes the same theory and exercises over 3 days, with the final dive corresponding to one of the specialty options. You can choose from:

After passing all tests, both online and practical, you will complete the PADI Open Water Diving Course.
