On this tour, we'll discover the most fantastic spots of the San Andres island by chiva bus and learn about its history while dancing to Caribbean beats.
Tour Details
At the chosen time, we’ll meet at the Hotel Sol Caribe Seaflower and hop aboard a chiva rumbera, a colorful traditional Colombian bus that will take us around San Andrés.
As we ride the chiva, we’ll enjoy the island’s scenery while Caribbean music enhances the experience. Our first stop will be the Islander House Museum, dedicated to preserving local culture and traditions.
Next, we’ll continue to the Persistence Museum and West View Pool, a natural eco-park where you can swim in its clear waters.
Then, we’ll visit the Hoyo Soplador, where you’ll see the sea crashing against the cliffs, with seawater shooting through holes in the rocks during high tide.
After exploring San Andrés aboard the chiva rumbera, we’ll return to the meeting point, wrapping up the activity about four hours later.
Route Changes
If you opt for the morning tour, the route will change slightly. Instead, we'll visit the Casa Museo Isleña, the Hoyo Soplador, and the West View pool. Also, instead of visiting The Persistence, we'll discover Morgan Cave, learning about the pirate associated with the cave.
