On this tour, we'll discover the fantastic spots of the San Andres island by chiva bus and learn about its history while dancing to Caribbean beats.
Tour Details
At the chosen time, we’ll meet at the Hotel Sol Caribe Seaflower and hop aboard a chiva rumbera, a colorful traditional Colombian bus that will take us around San Andrés.
As we ride the chiva, we’ll enjoy the island’s scenery while Caribbean music sets the rhythm. Our first stop will be the Islander House Museum, dedicated to preserving the culture and traditions of the local community.
Next, we’ll visit the Persistence Museum and West View Pool, a natural eco-park for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters.
Then, we’ll head to the Hoyo Soplador! Here, you’ll see the force of the sea as water shoots dramatically through holes in the rocks during high tide.
After the day exploring San Andrés aboard the chiva rumbera, we’ll return to the meeting point, wrapping up the activity about four hours later.
Route Changes
If you opt for the morning tour, the route will change slightly. We will instead visit the Casa Museo Isleña, the Hoyo Soplador, and the West View pool. Instead of The Persistence, we'll visit Morgan Cave, exploring the history of the pirate that named it.
