Discover one of the most traditional trades in San Andres. You'll weave handicrafts out of coconut palm and enjoy views of the Caribbean Sea.
San Andres Handicrafts Workshop
We'll meet at the arranged time and head to the San Luis neighborhood. Upon arrival, you'll meet the expert artisans who'll teach you how to weave coconut palm. You will spend one hour learning this traditional island weaving technique in a tropical setting, creating items such as hats, baskets, birds, roses, and fish.
After the crafts activity, there will be a fifteen-minute break for a natural juice and a typical empanada, followed by a dip in the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
At the end of the activity, we'll return you to the meeting point.
