On this pontoon boat ride through San Andrés, we'll enjoy a journey through the Colombian Caribbean while we explore its ecosystem.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet up at the San Andres Police Dock and board a pontoon boat for a cruise on the Caribbean Sea.
Our first stop will be the mangroves of Old Point National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna. Here, we will observe the mangrove ecosystem, which includes animal species such as crabs, mussels, lizards, and iguanas.
Next, we'll head to El Palito and the natural aquarium, where tropical fish and anemones thrive. An exciting manta ray-watching activity will also take place in this area.
We will stop at the floating Tiki Bar for one hour of free time to enjoy food or swim in the waters. After this, we will continue to Haynes Key Aquarium for snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters.
Our journey continues past Cayo Rocoso, known for its rocky areas and beaches.
If interested in more marine exploration, we will visit Mundo Marino, where we will anchor for a dive in the Careteo area to see the marine wildlife.
Finally, we'll stop at Cordoba islet, where you can enjoy a swim at White Wata Beach.
After a 7-hour pontoon boat excursion around San Andres, we will return to our starting point, concluding this activity.
