On this pontoon boat ride through San Andrés, we'll enjoy a journey through the Colombian Caribbean while exploring its ecosystem.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the San Andres Police Dock and board a pontoon boat for a cruise on the Caribbean Sea.
The first destination will be the mangroves of Old Point National Park, a diverse ecosystem in the easternmost part of San Andres. We'll observe various animal species, including crabs, mussels, lizards, and iguanas.
Next, we'll head to El Palito and the natural aquarium to see tropical fish and anemones, along with an exciting manta ray-watching activity.
A stop at the floating Tiki Bar will provide one hour of free time for food and swimming. After this break, we'll proceed to Haynes Key Aquarium for snorkeling and viewing diverse marine life.
Our exploration continues past Cayo Rocoso, known for its rocky areas and stunning beaches.
For those wishing to dive deeper into marine life, we'll visit Mundo Marino and anchor at the Careteo area for a dive experience.
Lastly, at Cordoba islet, take a refreshing swim at White Wata Beach and enjoy the pristine surroundings.
After a 7-hour pontoon boat excursion around San Andres, we'll return to our starting point, concluding this activity.
