In this tour, you'll learn about Gaucho customs in San Antonio de Areco, a local town in Argentina, essential for discovering the country’s culture.
Description
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the agreed location and begin our day of Gaucho culture in historic San Antonio de Areco, known as the birthplace of the first Argentine Gauchos.
We'll start with a guided tour of the town to learn about its colonial architecture and artisan workshops. Highlights include the San Antonio de Padua church and workshops, especially those of renowned silversmiths and saddlers. Following this, we will visit the Estancia El Ombú de Areco to delve into Gaucho culture.
We will meet the Gauchos living on the farm and enjoy a full lunch featuring empanadillas, roasted meats, and typical desserts.
After lunch, participants can choose between a horse or carriage ride covering 300 hectares (741 acres), experiencing rural Argentina with cows, sheep, horses, and various birds.
The tour includes classical guitar performances and folk dancing, with opportunities to witness equestrian shows such as Indian dressage and Troop, concluding after 10 hours of immersive experience.
