In this tour, you'll learn all about Gaucho customs in San Antonio de Areco, a local town in Argentina.
Description
At the scheduled time we'll meet at the agreed location and begin our day focused on Gaucho culture in San Antonio de Areco, the origin of the first Argentine Gauchos. We will start with a guided tour to explore the town’s colonial architecture and artisan workshops, including the famous San Antonio de Padua church. Notable artisans include silversmiths and saddlers. Next, we'll visit the Estancia El Ombú de Areco to immerse ourselves in Gaucho culture.
We'll meet the Gauchos, enjoy a full lunch with empanadillas, roasted meats, and typical desserts. Post-lunch, we can choose between a horse or carriage ride across 300 hectares (741 acres) of rural Argentina, observing cows, sheep, horses, and various birds.
The experience continues with classical guitar performances and folk dancing, along with equestrian shows like Indian dressage or the Troop. After 10 hours, the tour concludes.
