Description
At the scheduled time, we will meet at the agreed location and start our day focused on Gaucho culture in the historic town of San Antonio de Areco, the birthplace of the first Argentine Gauchos.
We will begin with a guided tour around San Antonio de Areco, essential for understanding the colonial architecture and artisan workshops. We will visit the San Antonio de Padua church and various workshops, particularly renowned silversmiths and saddlers. After these visits, we'll go to the Estancia El Ombú de Areco to experience Gaucho culture.
At the farm, we will meet the Gauchos and enjoy a full lunch that includes empanadillas, roasted meats, and typical desserts.
Post-lunch, you'll choose between a horse or carriage ride covering 300 hectares (741 acres) of rural Argentina, observing cows, sheep, horses, and birds.
We will continue to learn about Gaucho culture through classical guitar and folk dancing, and attend equestrian shows such as Indian dressage or Troop. After 10 hours, the tour will conclude.
