In this tour, you'll learn all about Gaucho customs in San Antonio de Areco, a local town in Argentina.
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the agreed location and begin our day in San Antonio de Areco. This town is known as the origin of the first Argentine Gauchos.
We'll start with a guided tour around the town, focusing on its colonial architecture and artisan workshops. Notable sites include the San Antonio de Padua church and the workshops of renowned silversmiths and saddlers. Afterward, we will head to the Estancia El Ombú de Areco to delve into Gaucho culture.
Here, we'll meet the Gauchos and enjoy a full lunch that features empanadillas, roasted meats, and typical desserts.
Post-lunch, you can choose between a horse or carriage ride as we explore 300 hectares (741 acres) of rural Argentina, observing cows, sheep, horses, and a range of birds.
The experience continues with classical guitar music and folk dancing, complemented by differing equestrian shows featuring Indian dressage and the Troop. The tour lasts 10 hours.
