Baeza & Puerto Misahualli Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Quito between 4:15 and 5 am and go to Baeza. During the 2 hour route, we'll cross the Cayambe Coca National Park and see the Papallacta Lagoon.
Upon arrival, you'll have breakfast followed by a guided tour of the colonial city, historically significant as the first town founded by the Spanish in the Amazonian territory.
Next, we'll proceed to Puerto Misahualli, 2 hours away. Upon arrival, we'll board a canoe on the Napo River to visit the Shiripuno community where we will learn about Kichwa traditions, see the sacred stone, taste a typical product, and attend a dance demonstration.
You will then have free time for lunch followed by relaxation at Los Monos beach. If desired, you may take a swim.
Finally, we will take a short walk through the jungle to see the Ceibo Milenario, an ancient tree over 60 meters tall.
At 4 pm, we will begin our return journey, arriving at your hotel in Quito around 8 pm.
