Explore one of the most amazing landscapes of Ecuador's Amazon rainforest on this excursion to Cayambe Coca National Park and the Tayos Caves.

Cayambe Coca National Park & Tayos Caves Excursion

We will pick you up at your hotel in Quito at 5 am and head to Baeza, our first stop. Here, you will enjoy a typical breakfast with views of the tropical rainforest.

After breakfast, we will visit the main attraction: the waterfall of Cayambe Coca National Park, which stands 50 meters high amidst beautiful surroundings.

Following this, we will stop at the viewpoint at the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant, and then head towards the Tayos Caves. We will stop for a typical lunch of the Amazon region with great views of the jungle.

Post-lunch, we will walk through streams to the renowned Cueva de los Tayos, a significant natural formation and the habitat of the tayos bird, which can be seen within the caves.

After exploring the landscapes of the Ecuadorian Amazon, we will return to hotels, arriving around 8 pm.
