Explore one of the most amazing landscapes of Ecuador's Amazon rainforest on this excursion to Cayambe Coca National Park and the Tayos Caves.

Cayambe Coca National Park & Tayos Caves Excursion

The tour begins at 5 am with a pick-up from your hotel in Quito. We will travel to Baeza, an Amazonian town where breakfast will be served with panoramic views of the rainforest.

After breakfast, we will visit the waterfall of Cayambe Coca National Park, which is 50 meters high and offers stunning scenery.

Next, we will stop at the Coca Codo Sinclair hydroelectric plant viewpoint, and then proceed to the Tayos Caves where we will enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch at a location with views of the jungle.

Post-lunch, we will walk through streams to reach the Cueva de los Tayos. This remarkable natural structure is home to the tayos, a local bird that inhabits various areas of the cave.

Following our exploration of the Amazon, we will return to the hotels, arriving around 8 pm.
