If you're passing by San Antonio on a cruise ship, spend the day visiting one of the most famous wine towns in Chile: Isla de Maipo!
Isla de Maipo Wine Tour
We'll meet at 8 am at the San Antonio cruise port and set off in a minibus on an hour's journey to Isla de Maipo.
Our first stop will be at the Tarapacá Winery where we'll admire its extensive vineyards surrounded by mountains and the Maipo River. Then we'll explore the centre of Isla de Maipo to learn about the region's wine tradition.
Our tour will take us to two other wineries. In one, we'll have a guided tour of its rooms and vineyards, concluding with a wine tasting. In the other, we'll be welcomed with some wine and a cheese board.
Lastly, we'll head to an area of the countryside to enjoy a lunch made up of local gastronomy along with wine.
At the end of the tour, we'll return to San Antonio cruise port by 3:30 pm.
