Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at your chosen location in Quito to begin the tour of the Andean communities of Quilotoa.
First, we will head to the Tigua region, where small farming communities are located. Here, we will learn about the artistic talents of the residents, particularly those who create paintings on sheepskin.
Next, we'll visit the community of Zumbahua for stunning views of the Toachi river canyon, formed by a geological fault.
Our final destination will be the community of Quilotoa, home to the striking Quilotoa lagoon, noted for its emerald green color. We will take a 45-minute hike to the lagoon for a closer view. Visitors can relax by the lagoon or rent a kayak to explore.
Afterward, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch with a starter, main course, and dessert. Then, you will have free time to explore Quilotoa and its lagoon.
We will conclude our 11-hour tour by returning to Quito.
