Quito Walking Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Quito at 8:30 am for a comprehensive tour of the city. Our first stop will be the Quito Market to experience the local culture and cuisine. Next, we will visit the Basílica del Voto Nacional, known for its neo-Gothic architecture.
We will continue on foot to the Plaza Grande, observing the exteriors of the Cathedral of Quito, the Carondelet Palace, and the Municipal Building. Inside, we will visit the Church of La Compañía and the Church of San Francisco, notable examples of colonial architecture. We will also sample premium chocolate made from Ecuadorian cocoa.
The next stop is the La Casa del Alabado Museum, featuring pre-Hispanic art and archaeological exhibits. We will stroll to Morales St, or La Ronda, with its colorful colonial houses, and enjoy a typical Ecuadorian dish at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit the Panecillo Viewpoint to appreciate stunning views at over 10,000 ft (3,000 metres) above sea level.
At 2:30 pm, we will return you to your hotel, concluding the tour.
