After a pickup from your hotel in Quito at the scheduled time, our full walking tour of Ecuador's enchanting capital will begin.

Our first destination is the Quito Market, a vibrant place where you can experience the charm, tradition, and flavors unique to the Ecuadorian capital. From there, we will move on to the National Museum of Ecuador, where we will delve into the rich tapestry of Ecuador's history.

Next, we will visit El Panecillo lookout for breathtaking scenic views over 3000 m above sea level.

Continuing our journey, we will explore the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco. Here, we will take in the grandeur of the basilica's impressive altars and chapels, and stroll through the square of the same name, immersing ourselves in the area’s vibrant history.

After this visit, we will take a moment to learn about one of Ecuador's famous products, cacao. A tasting of various types of Ecuadorian chocolates will surely satisfy those with a sweet tooth.

We will then proceed to the Church and Convent of San Ignacio de Loyola de la Compañía de Jesús de Quito, notable for its exquisite Baroque architecture. The interior adorned with gold leaf is a highlight that you won't want to miss!

Next, we'll make our way to the Plaza Grande, or Independence Square. In this vibrant area, you'll witness daily life in Quito and marvel at the architecture of significant landmarks like the Carondelet Palace, the Quito Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Palacio Arzobispal.

To wrap up our tour, we'll head to the Basilica of the National Vow, a magnificent Neogothic structure that is among the largest churches in the Americas. Did you know its gargoyles resemble animals native to Ecuador?
