Quito Walking Tour

After picking you up from your hotel in Quito, we'll begin our tour of Ecuador's capital.

Our first stop will be the Quito Market, showcasing the charm and tradition of the capital. The tour continues at the National Museum of Ecuador, providing insights into the country's history.

Next, we'll visit El Panecillo lookout for scenic views over 3000 m above sea level.

We will then explore the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, admiring its impressive altars and chapels, and passing by its square.

After visiting the basilica, we'll discover Ecuador's cacao by tasting different types of Ecuadorian chocolates.

Next, we'll visit the Church and Convent of San Ignacio de Loyola de la Compañía de Jesús de Quito, known for its Baroque architecture and gold leaf interior.

We will then walk to the Plaza Grande (Independence Square) to observe daily life and view important buildings like the Carondelet Palace, Quito Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Palacio Arzobispal.

In this area, you'll taste traditional snacks such as empanadas de viento, figs with cheese, pristiños, and canelazo.

Finally, we'll visit the Basilica of the National Vow, a Neogothic-style church featuring gargoyles shaped like native animals.

We'll conclude the tour by returning to your hotel, arriving 6 hours after pickup.
