San Antonio Missions National Historical Park Tour
Your journey will commence from your accommodation, where we will organize our transportation to the Missions National Historical Park. This area marks the historical beginnings of San Antonio.
Upon arrival, our first stop will be Mission Concepción, established in 1716 by Franciscans and recognized as a National Historic Monument in 1970. This site stands out as the most well-preserved mission in the park!
Next, we will explore Missions San José, San Juan Capistrano, and Espada. Nearby the last mission, we will be able to view the notable Aqueduct and the Espada ditch, recognized as the oldest irrigation system in the nation. Its significance has granted it the designation of Civil Engineering Historic Landmark.
During the tour, we will also enjoy the critically acclaimed film People of the Missions, which showcases the history and significance of the San Antonio missions in a captivating manner.
Once our audiovisual journey concludes, we will return you to your hotel, culminating the experience approximately three and a half hours after the start of the tour.
