Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in San Antonio and head north to the heart of Texas Hill Country.

Our first stop will be in Johnson City at the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park Visitor Centre, which narrates the story of the 36th President of the United States and his wife Lady Bird.

Next, we’ll visit the LBJ ranch in Stonewall, located by the Pedernales River. We will discuss the influence of German immigrants from 1840 and 1850 on the area. Additionally, we will showcase farming trucks used in the Great Trail Texas and explore the history of denim jeans from this period.

Following this, we will proceed to Fredericksburg, one of Texas' three wine-growing areas. You will have 2 hours of free time to eat and explore. We recommend local wine tasting and shopping in boutiques and galleries.

Before concluding, we’ll tour the towns of Luckenbach, Sisterdale, and Sister Creek Winery, then return to San Antonio after an 8-hour tour.
