We'll pick you up from the meeting point in Quito at 7 am and set off for the Yanacocha Reserve.
This area, located on the slopes of the Guagua Pichincha Volcano, is known for its Polylepis forests. The reserve attracts many high-altitude birds, including the masked flowerpiercer and the tororoí rufos, and hosts over 50 different species of hummingbirds.
At midday, we will stop for a snack that includes a quesadilla, chulips chocos, and a soft drink or water. After the tour, we will drop you off at the meeting point in Quito at around 1 pm.
Pick up
This trip includes pick up from the following hotels in Quito's historic centre: Hotel Casa El Edén, Portal de Cantuña, Casa Gangotena, San Blas, and Casa Foch. If you aren't staying at any of these hotels, we will meet on Calle Vicente Ramón Roca E8-57.
