Arco del Coronadero Hiking
At 9:15 am, we'll meet at Avenida de la Unión Europea in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. From here, we'll set off on a 7 km trekking route through the deep ravines of southern Gran Canaria, leading to the Arco del Coronadero.
During the hike, we will walk along paths of the Amurga Massif, observing various cacti and the ruins of pre-Hispanic settlements. The tour includes insights into the island's indigenous inhabitants as we pass ancient caves and temples.
We will cross desert landscapes and walk alongside the steep stone walls of the Barranco Hondo before reaching the Arco del Coronadero, a natural rock formation formed millions of years ago, with opportunities for photography.
After our visit to the arch, we'll begin our return journey, concluding the hike at 2 pm back at the starting point in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
