See Gran Canaria in a fun new way and discover one of its most impressive natural monuments on this hiking tour of the Arco del Coronadero from San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

Arco del Coronadero Hiking

At 9:15 am, we'll meet at Avenida de la Unión Europea in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. From here, we'll set off on a 7 km trekking route through the deep ravines of southern Gran Canaria.

We'll walk along the paths of the Amurga Massif, observing various cacti and the ruins of pre-Hispanic settlements. Information about the island's indigenous inhabitants will be shared as we pass ancient caves and temples.

Crossing desert landscapes and walking alongside the steep stone walls of the Barranco Hondo, we will reach the Arco del Coronadero, a notable natural rock formation. We will explore its origins and have opportunities for photographs.

After our visit to the natural arch, we will begin our return journey, concluding the hike at 2 pm back at the starting point in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
