See Gran Canaria in a fun new way and discover one of its impressive natural monuments on this hiking tour of the Arco del Coronadero from San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

Arco del Coronadero Hiking

At 9:15 am, we'll meet at Avenida de la Unión Europea in San Bartolomé de Tirajana. From here, we'll set off on a 7 km trekking route through the deep ravines of southern Gran Canaria. The Arco del Coronadero awaits us!

We'll walk along the paths of the Amurga Massif, observing various cacti and the ruins of pre-Hispanic settlements. We'll learn about the island's indigenous inhabitants as we pass by ancient caves and temples.

Crossing desert landscapes and walking alongside the steep stone walls of the Barranco Hondo, we will reach the Arco del Coronadero, a remarkable natural rock formation. We'll explore its origins and take plenty of photos.

After enjoying our time at the natural arch, we will begin our return journey, finishing the hiking route at 2 pm back at the starting point in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
