Camel Ride in Maspalomas

Take a fantastic camel ride into the Maspalomas dunes in south Gran Canaria. Exploring these landscapes on the back of camels is a memorable experience.

Camel Ride Details

Our camel ride, lasting about 30 minutes, begins at the Maspalomas lagoon. We will mount these animals, which are well-adapted to hot, dry conditions, and proceed into the Maspalomas Nature Reserve.

The dunes host a diverse ecosystem of fauna and flora that thrive in this rugged landscape. The impressive mounds of sand shift over time due to wind, creating a Sahara-like atmosphere. As we continue, you will observe how the dunes extend to the Atlantic shoreline. The tour concludes at the initial meeting point.

Opening Times

The park Camello Safari & Criadero Camellos Fataga operates from Monday to Sunday, 9 am to 3 pm. Participants should arrive between 9 am and 10:30 am for the ride, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ride Requirements

The maximum weight permitted for participation in the activity is 100kg (220lb).
