Las Palmas & Caldera de Bandama Day Trip

Delve into the rich history and nature of Gran Canaria by visiting the Old Town of Las Palmas, the Botanical Garden and the Caldera de Bandama.

Day Trip Details

We will pick you up at the meeting point in the south of Gran Canaria you select, then head north to Las Palmas for a guided walking tour of Vegueta, the historic center of the island's capital. This area features the city's oldest buildings, including the Casa de Colón and the Cathedral of Santa Ana. Following the tour, lasting about 20 minutes, you will have 40 minutes of free time. Then, we will travel by coach to the Caldera de Bandama, stopping for approximately 15 minutes for photos of the crater.

Next, we will proceed to the Viera y Clvija Botanical Gardens, allowing 45 minutes for exploration. Afterward, we will return to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria where you can have lunch or visit the Poema del Mar aquarium, Las Canteras Beach, Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, and the Las Arenas Shopping Centre. Those who wish may end their day here. The tour concludes after approximately 9 hours back at the original pickup point.

Arrival approximately at 5:15 pm8:50 am - 9:20 am: pickup from Playa del Inglés to San Agustín and Bahía Feliz. Arrival approximately at 5 pm

Additional Info

This day trip does not depart from the hotel area in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
