The via ferrata of San Agustin is an opportunity to combine adventure and nature through a climbing challenge showcasing the south of Gran Canaria.
Via Ferrata of San Agustin Climbing Tour
We will meet at the designated time next to the European Union Avenue in Bahía Feliz, followed by a 30-minute walk to the starting point of the via ferrata Amor y Odio in San Agustín.
At the via ferrata, participants will be equipped with necessary gear. The guide will outline essential safety rules for the duration of the activity.
While traversing the via ferrata Amor y Odio, climbers will access areas that may seem otherwise unreachable. Using ropes and harnesses, participants will enjoy views of the landscapes in southern Gran Canaria.
The route spans approximately 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) with a climb of 246 feet (75 meters) high stone cliff. There are also hidden caves and panoramic views of the Amurga massif.
For those seeking more adventure, an option is available to cross Gran Canaria’s longest suspension bridge, measuring 197 feet (60 meters) in length. This will test your bravery!
The activity concludes after four hours, returning to the starting point.
