Day Trip to Yaxhá

The tour begins with pickup at your hotel in Flores to travel to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, located in the Guatemalan Petén jungle. After approximately an hour and a half drive, we will enter the Mayan ruins to explore one of the largest urban centers of this ancient civilization.

With an expert guide, you'll learn about Mayan legends, their culture, and the symbolic meanings of each temple we visit.

We will see the Minor Astronomical Complex, the Temple of the Red Hand, the Twin Pyramids, the Acropolis, and the Plaza of the Columns, among other significant sites.

After touring Yaxhá, you may relax and have lunch at El Portal de Yaxhá restaurant, situated in the jungle. Finally, we will go to a viewpoint in Yaxhá for a sunset experience, concluding the tour.

We will return to your hotel in Flores, with a total duration of 8 hours for the tour.
