The tour starts with a pick-up at your hotel in Flores to the Mayan city of Yaxhá, located in the Guatemalan Petén jungle. Following approximately an hour and a half drive, we will enter the Mayan ruins to explore one of the largest urban centers of this ancient civilization.

With an expert guide, you will learn about legends, rich culture, and the symbolic meanings of each temple visited. Key sites include the Minor Astronomical Complex, Temple of the Red Hand, Twin Pyramids, Acropolis, and Plaza of the Columns.

After the tour of Yaxhá, you can opt to relax and have lunch at El Portal de Yaxhá restaurant situated in the jungle. The tour concludes with a visit to a viewpoint in Yaxhá for an unforgettable sunset before returning to your hotel in Flores, totaling 8 hours for the experience.
