Nazism and the German History Tour
This tour explores the German origins of Bariloche. We will meet at the Bariloche Civic Center square at the specified time. After taking pictures of the picturesque Lake Nahuel Huapi, we will stroll around the historic town center to uncover the earliest traces of German immigration. The tour includes passing by the Club Andino, highlighting its significance during the inter-war period.
Participants will immerse themselves in the German cultural origins of the city, learning about immigrant stories, the Nazi legacy, and Argentina's role during the Second World War. The tour will also cover how one of the notorious criminals of Hitler's Germany sought refuge in Bariloche.
The tour concludes after 1.5 hours in the historic city center, with recommendations for places to enjoy a delicious regional beer.
