Nazism and the German History Tour
Prepare to explore the German origins of Bariloche. We will meet at the Bariloche Civic Center square at the indicated time.
After taking pictures of Lake Nahuel Huapi, we will stroll around the historic town center to uncover the earliest traces of German immigration in the city. We will pass by the Club Andino and learn about its significant role during the inter-war period.
We will gradually immerse ourselves in the German cultural origins of the city. Stories about immigrants, the Nazi legacy, and Argentina’s involvement during the Second World War will be shared. You will also hear about how one of the biggest criminals of Hitler's Germany took refuge in Bariloche.
The tour concludes 1.5 hours later in the historic city center, where recommendations for enjoying a delicious regional beer will be provided.
